Beating Adwords 4.0
Beating Adwords 4.0 is by far my favorite guide to mastering Adwords! And I have to say, since it was among the first few Internet Marketing eBooks I bought, it still stands out as the most comprehensive Pay Per Click guide I've read. I mean, it really covers EVERYTHNG you need to know. I still go back to it quite often as a refresher.
The whole reason I bought it was that I decided I was going to try my hand at making money with some clickbank products. But I ran into a problem right away....Google was charging me through the nose! And a lot of my keywords were inactive. I dug around a little big and it looked like Beating Adwords would help me fix that. Guess what? It did! Following the advice in the there, I dropped my cost per click to a fraction of what it was before. Not only that, it helped me with some killer marketing tips as well.

Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide to Adwords
So to be honest, I've only skimmed through Perry Marshall's Guide. This is mainly because it didn't really offer anything new over Beating Adwords. From what I saw though, it's still an extremely comprehensive guide that you can't go wrong with and you'll learn exactly how to dominate Adwords.
The primary reason this is my second choice is that it's a bit dry and doesn't quite offer the "extras" that Beating Adwords does. But a lot of Internet Marketers absolutely swear by it and you're still going to be miles ahead of most advertisers with Perry's Guide.
It's funny, when anyone on an Internet Marketing forum asks about the best Adwords guide, you almost always see a tossup match between Beating Adwords and Perry Marshall's guide. He also has some pretty informative stuff scattered around on his site.
